Eastern Shore
4th of July was a blast!!! We spent a long weekend in Denton Md, camping and scooting. It was very relaxing and fun to be free to scoot to the very little town that had two open stores, a coffee house that closes at 3 o'clock and a cute gift store that was open till 5pm. Whoohoo!!! Oh and I can't forget the royal farms. We also road around the state park and then drove the truck to St. Michaels to shop and find local produce and seafood. Hershey Pa is our next trip....can't wait!

Harper's Ferry
Our scooter plans for Gettysburg were rained out so we were not able to take Cannoli & Enzo. Harper's Ferry is officially there first time camping with us. It took a little while to load the kids up but it was worth it. When we pulled into the campground and opened to ramp to our suprise we saw Enzo leaning on Cannoli!!!! Yikes! Thank goodness there were not dents or scratches. So we unloaded, had dinner and relaxed the rest of the first night. The next morning we were up really early to scoot to town. The speeds were slow and the roads were nice. The hill was great for Cannoli going down but going up was a different story. We got to town around 9:30 and we were glad we were there early because the temperatures were forcasted for over 100 degrees that day. Geesh it was really hot. I went into 3 stores and had enough. We walked back to the bikes to leave and the train was going by so I had to snap some pictures. We scooted through the national park on the way back to the RV and stopped for some more pics. Later that night we wanted to scoot to town to have ice cream but when Alex tried to start Enzo he was making noises and wouldn't start. There was gas coming out of the air filter which isn't a good thing so we decided to load them back up. It wasn't easy pushing Enzo up the ramp...and I was so glad to see that our neighbors behind us could tell we were struggling and ran over to help. Alex strapped them down and finished before the big thunderstorm came. The next morning we headed home, but not without stopping for some fresh seafood.

Camping in Gettysburg
This will be the first time that Cannoli and Enzo get to tag along in the RV! Alex has informed me that there will be a farmers market in the square Saturday, so he is all excited to cook with local ingredients. We are planning a scoot to the market and if the weather holds up we would like to go through the auto tour for the first time on the scooters. It should be fun.

It's Scooter Time 2008
Too bad both Cannoli and Enzo are in the shop. We took the bikes out of the garage last weekend to discovered they were just not running right. So they had to go back to MotoStrada to get a little tune-up. I guess they don't like to sit around all winter cooped up in a garage with no attention...I wouldn't like it either. So I am very excited to be bringing them home with weekend. I hope the weather is somewhat decent for a little ride, at least up and down the driveway. I'll keep you posted
